Position Objective:
The person will be part of T&D department and will join the team that is developing stacks and fuel cell applications for both power generation and hydrogen production by electrolysis. 

The candidate will contribute to the safety concepts development and participate at certification activities, cooperating with cross functional resources. Activity will be focused on product for EU and selected foreign markets including US and Korea. Main driver is engineering perspective but with strong cooperation with Operation and Quality departments. 

 

 The Role: 

  • Participate engineering processes to ensure CE marking 
  • Cooperate with colleagues in engineering department in order to ensure product compliance and safety 
  • Support designers in the product development 
  • Contribute to develop risk assessments and fault analysis 
  • Review construction and design documentation 
  • Support Type testing at external Laboratories 
  • Cooperate with engineering in other SOLIDpower T&D centers (CH, DE and AUS)

 

Candidate Profile: 

  • Master degree in technical or scientific area (Nuclear, Energetic, Chemical or Physics preferred) 
  • 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or engineering company. 
  • Good knowledge in English, both spoken and written. 
  • Project management experience preferred

Candidate Profile: 

  • Master degree in technical or scientific area 
  • At least 3 years experience product safety related in a manufacturing company, notified body or accredited laboratory. 
  • Good knowledge in English, both spoken and written. 
  • Experience in functional safety and risk/fault assessments or FMEA 
  • Experience in product Ce marking and Notified Body relationship (Gas Appliance Regulation experience preferred). Experience in extra EU markets (North America and Asia) welcome 
  • Project management experience

Position Objective:
The person will be joining T&D department, particularly the team involved in stack development. The activity consists mainly in performing tests through all stages of stack development in order to improve performances and lifetime. The person will be fully responsible about the tests, including planning, operation and regular maintenance. Cooperation with colleagues dislocated in different locations will be part of the job.

The Role:

  • Planning and operating electrochemical tests on stacks in agreement with product development teams.
  • Supervising the maintenance of stack testing rigs.
  • Detect issues of the testing rigs, track root causes and suggest fixes and improvements.
  • Assembly of stack prototypes on the station.
  • Supervise post operation analyses of stacks after testing.
  • Support research partners and strategic customers on testing activities, including commissioning and data analysis.
  • Analyze test results and prepare test reports for management.
  • Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.

Candidate Profile:

  • Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role (nice to have).
  • Familiarity with testing techniques and components, including polarization tests and impedance spectroscopy.
  • Good knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Full professional proficiency in English.
